I was blessed to start the first week of Women’s History Month with some of the most impactful ladies here in the Third District!
On Sunday, Virtue Restaurant in Hyde Park helped us host Laverne Smith and Kathleen Sances, two of this year’s Women of Vision Awardees! Every year, the Third District recognizes three women that positively impact, transform, and uplift the people of Cook County. Our third 2023 awardee, Congresswoman Robin Kelly, unfortunately couldn’t make it, but her presence was warmly felt!
