Congratulations to my friend & colleague, Brandon Johnson!
We started this week of Board Meetings with a bittersweet celebration of Brandon’s move to the other side of the 5th floor, where he’ll serve as the Mayor of the City of Chicago after resigning from the Cook County Board of Commissioners next month.
Brandon: thank you for being an integral part of this team for the past 5 years. Cook County and our Forest Preserve District is much better thanks to your service!
