Meet Kammia Carroll: a 2022 Provident Scholarship Awardee! The goal of this scholarship program is to provide opportunities to students from, and dedicated to serving, underrepresented communities in Cook County.
The Provident Scholarship Fund builds on Provident Hospital’s rich history. A collaboration between Cook County Health, the Cook County Health Foundation, and Cook County Government, the scholarships will provide opportunities to students coming from communities that historically have faced greater challenges, including access to education, economic opportunities, transportation, food or medical care.
There’s two scholarships up for grabs: Up to $20K for our Health Professionals Scholarship for medical school students and clinical graduate students, and up to $10K for our Allied Health & Undergraduate Scholarship for undergraduate students!
